Jill Hoffman
PT, DPT, OCS

Jill is originally from Hinsdale, IL, a southwest suburb of Chicago. As a child, she was always interested in the healthcare field but was unsure what profession she wanted to seek out. She was a gymnast for thirteen years and had various injuries throughout her career. This led to multiple bouts of physical therapy. Each time, she enjoyed having a physical therapist who listened and cared about her goals to get back to the sport she loved. These experiences inspired her to pursue the physical therapy profession. She attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI for her undergraduate career in Exercise Physiology. During that time she was a personal trainer and a group fitness instructor. This experience provided the opportunity to expand her knowledge of various exercise modifications and progressions for each individual. She continued at Marquette to obtain her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Throughout her time there, she worked with a variety of patient populations including outpatient orthopedics, pediatrics, and neurologic physical therapy. One of Jill’s philosophies as a therapist is cura personalis which is a Latin phrase that means “care for the whole person”. Although a patient may be attending physical therapy for one body part, she cares about the whole individual and their personal goals. She works with her patients to set goals that are meaningful and will improve their quality of life. Jill recently moved to the Pacific Northwest in June 2021. She was drawn to the beautiful diversity in the landscape and the variety of outdoor activities available. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, camping, and cooking. Her most memorable time in Washington thus far has been morning runs with a beautiful sunrise across the Olympic range. She is excited to call Washington home for years to come.
